The intent was — and still is — to ensure that everyone in metro Kansas City has a place to call home.
But nearly a year behind schedule, Kansas City’s Homelessness Task Force has issued a final report that even its defenders admit falls short of expectations.
The mission was ambitious: Create a plan that “when fully implemented will end homelessness in our region.”
