Lost Boys Of South Sudan

Alfred Ring and David Dhol are two lost boys from South Sudan sponsored for resettlement in the United States. Now living in Overland Park, Kansas, they want to help rebuild their village.

They are looking for funding to build a school in their village in Pannyok, Wau Province. Ring says “Most of the classes are held under shady trees. During the raining season, classes get canceled. There are no text books for the students. Teachers write all the lessons in the board and if one of the students misses a class one day, they miss out the whole lesson.”

"
Lost Boys of Sudan" documentary captures the hardships their generation went through.

How can we as designers outreach these people in need?
